Sean-Sharrel Music

Sean-Sharrel, also known as Shon Sharele, Tsonga Blooded or Shangaan Gangsta, was born in South Africa, Limpopo as  Sipho Sean-Sharrel Mongwe.

He grew up in a traditional Tsonga ancestral family which practised African spirituality and performed healing ceremonies every weekend as a way of life. In addition, Sean-Sharrel grew up listening mainly to hip-hop music with a bit of rock, pop, reggae and RnB.

He fused these genres with traditional music and created his own rap style self-named traditional hip-hop music called “Trad-Hop”
